My name is Lucy Westlake and I am a 19-year-old American mountaineer (youngest American to summit Mt. Everest). I am putting together a team of adventurers, ages 19-29, to join me on a 12-day trek to K2 base camp this June.
Straddling the border between Pakistan and China, K2 stands at 28,251ft, making it the second tallest mountain in the world. The K2 BaseCamp Trek is known as one of the most beautiful hikes on Earth. On this 12-day trek, we will pass through a colossal amphitheater of sky-scraping summits– including 7 of the 19 highest mountains on Earth en route to the base of the world’s second highest peak. This is a challenging trek that will require a strong fitness base to hike 6-7 hours/day and a day of wearing crampons and roping up to climb over a glacier pass (all skills needed will be taught on the trek). This is a loop route, so we will not return to the same locations. We have an amazing team forming and we'd love for you to join us.
