The Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge, is the ultimate test in strength, endurance and character, comprising of more than 30 teams racing across 3000 nautical miles from the Canary Islands to the Caribbean.
There’s plenty of reasons why more people have attempted to climb Mount Everest than the number who have ever rowed the Atlantic ocean, such as marlin strikes and 20ft waves, all while rowing for 2 hours on and off around the clock.
In December 2023 the girls will row, unassisted, from San Sebastien de la Gomera to English Harbour, Antigua. It will take between 30 and 50 days to row 3000 miles. They will each take over 1.5 million oar strokes, burn 5000 per day and consume 10 litres of water per day. They will row in 2 hour shifts, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
We are seeking one epic person to join us to race in the Talisker whiskey Atlantic challenge 2023 on our adventure. Male or Female, any age welcome (minimum age 18 as per race rules.) We have epic training planned; a boat sourced. All we need is that final puzzle piece.
