The expedition : I am planning to do a self-organised winter expedition in the north of Sweden in February 2022 (from 04/02 to 20/02) and I am searching for a partner.
10/12 days in the beginning of February 2022
from Nikkaluokta to Abisko (it's a short part of the Kungsleden trail in Sweden)
About 120 km
Complete autonomy with ski touring and a pulk
Short days (sunrise 9am sunset 2pm), cold and windy (could reach -30° and even a lower windchill)
About me : I literally fell in love with the Arctic in 2012 when I was working in a pristine landscape in the Northwest Territories (about 100km from Yellowknife) - 3 months there in winter and living in a tent frame. Awesome !
About the partner : Hard to say... maybe a first experience of living outside in winter above the arctic circle if you are committed, or maybe you have experience already.
